Recently the Great Room had the opportunity to host our largest sit-down dinner to date! Over 160 guests showed up to celebrate the marriage of Alan and Lindsay–and it couldn’t have gone any better!
The couple brought in blue goblets to add color to the table–it looked great!
The alternating colored napkins made the tables look much more interesting. Ask us how we can help you pick out linens for your next event!
Sunlight on what turned out to be a beautiful day in Chapel Hill, contrary to the predicted forecast!
Both our large round tables and square tables were used for the seating of guests, a good idea for larger parties.
A shot of the seating offered in our Franklin Room. The couple had rented out the entire space for their special day!
We loved the blue linens on the cocktail tables, tied off with dark blue sashes!
The Old Well cupcake-tower topper was a classic!
The couple’s alternative guest book was something never done before in our space! Alan and Lindsay asked guests to ink a thumb print on their tree and sign their names next to their print–not to worry! Wipes were on hand when guests were done inking! Wondering where the couple got this alternative guest book and their custom table numbers done? Check out emDOTzee Designs for all of your creative needs!
We love working with our preferred vendors! Event planner Sally Oakley was the couple’s day-of coordinator, and we worked closely with her to ensure every detail was just right. Serving this dinner was easy with the detailed planning that went into coordinating guests meal choice with their place-card color– another great idea for large parties doing sit-down three-course meals!
Congratulations Alan and Lindsay!
-Cheers!
